This is not my best photograph of day by a long shot. It's blurry, the lens must have had some schmutz on it, the lighting was bad, etc... But when your friends show up at 9PM to fix your walls AND bring you a freshly baked pie, it trumps everything.

I was minding my own business when Paula casually mentioned she had an extra scrapper if I was interested in helping. So I did the honorable thing and started to scrap. As you can see I may have dug a bit too deep.

We have called a professional who will likely be able to figure out something. Hopefully not new drywall but perhaps a skim coat of plaster. The issue is Paula is hosting a home tour on May 4th. Time is tight and my name is Mud.

An Eventful Month

January has gotten off to a rousing start. I was fortunate to asked to present at a conference in Florida so I was able to spend some time with Dad, Brenda and Terry. Photos here.

Meredith and Kurt on moving to another apartment, Kurt got another job. Paula hopped on a plane to Toronto to see Meredith's concert but was delayed due to weather and missed her flight so arrived a day too late.

Sam smashed the bug. Looking forward to February.

We've been playing alot of games at Christmas. Dutch Blitz is a favourite. We had a hard time finding it but Paula got it on Ebay in summer. Here's one hand, with Shea winning.
